2017 Soul Turbo
U.S. News & World Report has released their list of the Best Cars For The Money and both the 2017 Kia Sorento and Soul have been included. Each year, the publication selects the vehicles included on this list by evaluating vehicles in 20 different categories and comparing them by factors such as safety and reliability. They also compare value, which is determined by combining each model’s five-year total cost of ownership and the average price for the model at the time of the awards.

The 2017 Kia Sorento was named the winner in the 3-Row SUV category. For the 2017 model year this vehicle adds an array of new available driver assistance features line Dynamic Bending Lights and Autonomous Emergency Braking.
The 2017 Kia Soul was named the winner in the Compact Car category. For the 2017 model year this vehicle adds several new available convenience systems like UVO3 with e-Services with integrated Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Blind Spot Detection.

We talked a lot about the highly anticipated Kia Big Game commercial featuring the 2017 Kia Niro along with Melissa McCarthy and we sincerely hope that all of our customers from Gaithersburg, Rockville, Bethesda, Germantown, and Silver Spring, MD tuned in this past weekend and caught this entertaining new 72-second spot during one of the breaks from the action of the Super Bowl. However, if you missed it then never fear because we have it for you right here. In the spot, we see McCarthy in a variety of dangerous situations as she struggles to support a variety of important causes in her mission to be an eco warrior. All throughout her journey, however, she makes her way to all of these causes with the help of her trusty Niro which, as they say in the spot, is an easy way to be eco friendly.

January Sales Top 35,000 For Kia Motors America
January sales for Kia Motors America have been announced and the brand has achieved a monthly total of 35,626 units sold throughout the first month of the year. The Optima and the Soul led sales for January with their totals reaching 7,849 and 7,792 respectively. This month also marked the first official sales of the all-new Kia Niro with a total of 42 units sold during January.
January Sales Announced For Kia Motors America:
- Sportage sales came to 4,623 units
- Rio sales came to 986 units
- Cadenza sales came to 316 units
- Sedona sales came to 1,538 units
- Forte sales increased 17.6 percent to reach 6,267 units
- Sorento sales came to 6,179 units

As we mentioned in our previous blog, the 2017 Kia Niro is going to be featured in the official Kia Super Bowl advertisement which will air during the big game this coming Sunday. As we mentioned, Actress/Comedian will be starring in this new 60-second spot along with the new Niro and the brand had already released a few short spots that featured McCarthy doing a voiceover as this vehicle was introduced, which we also shared with you. Now, Kia has released two new Super Bowl teaser spots that give a small glimpse of what we should expect to see when the full spot airs this weekend. In both spots, McCarthy seems to be on an adventure, but has currently gotten herself into a bit of trouble. We can only wonder what she is up to as we are sure you do as well.
Well, you can wait until this weekend to find out with the rest of the Super Bowl viewers or you can check it out ahead of time through the special release on NiroBot for Messenger tomorrow, February 1, 2017. The Kia brand was one of the first automotive companies to take advantage of the benefits of advertising through Facebook Messenger and this new advanced released is sure to bring even more popularity and engagement from fans through the popular social media platform.

Kia Niro Makes Official Television Debut
The all-new Kia Niro has made its official television debut in two new 15-second spots that feature this award-winning hybrid. The two spots feature this sleek new model driving along a country road while some of its top assets are highlighted through a voiceover by Actress/Comedian Melissa McCarthy. These advertisements are the first in a new marketing campaign that the brand is launching for the model which will include a 60-second spot airing during the Super Bowl featuring both the Kia Niro and Melissa McCarthy as the stars of the spot.
